Hello Hans, Stefan Süßmann is absolutely correct, I missed it. The SDA and SCL lines must have pull-ups otherwise the I2C Bus will fail. Because the I2C Bus is a bidirectional bus, the master and slaves only pull the bus line(s) to GND for a “0” and lets go of the bus line(s) for a “1”.
